Dining room in the cottage as well as a main floor family room with 50" TV. Lower level family room also includes a TV and a spare HDMI cable should you want to bring along your gaming system. Both TV's provide access to a complete TV package which includes all Sportsnet and TSN channels.

We've thought of everything to enhance your comfort and convenience during your stay. Clear instructions and helpful tips are provided to help you make the most of your time at Cool Camp, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Our newly renovated gourmet kitchen includes:

The Dream Room
The property features a 14' x 38' screened in porch. This is the most fabulous room ever designed. If it rains during your stay, this room remains dry and all of you will be more than comfortable in this room featuring a dining table for over 8 people which can also be used for playing cards or board games and a small living for chatting in and among the gorgeous pine trees.

Rain at the cottage is never fun and we would love to guarantee good weather, but we cannot. This room will help ensure that your fun goes on in spite of the rain. Please note that if the rain is horizontal because of strong winds, some rain water will come into the porch, making it a little less comfortable.

Below the dream room, we have a cornhole game complete with lights so you can play all day and into the evening.
The Waterfront
Our property is not traditional lakefront. We have access to the lake, to launch a boat and to swim. We also have a 32' dock, an 8' x 8' floating dock for swimming and a small deck on shore with chairs to relax in.
The walk from the cottage to the dock is about 400m downhill. You can also drive to the lake and park your car there if you wish and then walk over to the dock about 100m from you car. You will be walking along the shoreline in front of other cottager docks. Don't worry, our dock neighbours are quite friendly and relaxed, remember you are in cottage county where life is just ..... better.

Note that our boat launch is fine for smaller ~ 14' fishing boats that are not too heavy. For larger boats there is a public launch about 12km drive away where you can launch your boat and then drive it back to the dock. We can help if needed here.

Bookings
Bookings are available year round, the cottage is heated and very comfortable in the winter. With the exception of Summer, bookings of at least 2 nights are available. During the Summer months (typically June-August) we prefer and prioritize week long bookings of 7 nights starting on a Friday night. So a typical Summer booking would be from Friday 4pm until Friday 10am the following week. Multiple weeks (Friday to Friday) are also welcome.

To check availability and to discuss a tentative booking send an email to coolcamplakeclear@gmail.com. In your email include the following:

Check-in date and check-out date. Check in time is usually 4pm and check out is 10 am (can accommodate exceptions here)

The number of people and beds you will use and if you are bringing any pets. Outside summer months, the cost can be significantly less if you only use 1 bed for example.

We will respond with a quote for your stay assuming we can accomomdate your group

To confirm a booking, we will require half the quoted fee for the stay up front. Then, we will require the other half of the payment 2 days before your check in date.
